The Vision Lab at ETEK Technology Center was developed to provide an advanced research space for product quality inspection and evaluation, aimed at improving accuracy and minimizing technical risks before project implementation.

At the lab, ETEK focuses on four core application groups:

  • Measurement: Measuring dimensions, distances, flatness, and object profiles, targeting high-precision applications down to the micrometer level.
  • Identification: QR code reading, character recognition, and product identification within the factory environment.
  • Cosmetic Inspection: Detecting scratches, scuffs, and surface defects on components.
  • Positioning: Vision systems determining coordinates, rotation angles, and positions of products.

Vision Lab aims to provide an open research and hands-on space for engineers, students, and partners to exchange ideas and develop new vision systems together.
